August 6th, 2010 - Come on out to Wild Wings (Marietta) this weekend. It's Jamaican Independence Day. We're partnering with Red Stripe for this one...so there will be plenty of drink specials to be had. Live Reggae music from 6pm to 9pm on both Friday and Saturday night.
June 1st, 2010 - Party up a storm! June 1st marks the beginning of Hurricane Season...so make it a Horné Hurricane on your favorite patio this summer.
2oz - Horné Spiced Rum
3oz - Orange Juice
1.5oz - Pineapple
.75oz - Grenadine
Give it a good long shake and then pour into a pint glass filled with ice. Drop some fruit on the top for some bling.
May 1st, 2010 - The official launch date of the 1.75L (handle) size of Horné Spiced Rum. Should be rolling out to all Georgia and South Carolina package stores over the next few weeks.
March 15th, 2010 - If you missed out on our St. Paddy's bash in Savannah this past weekend, you missed out on a blast. Club 51 welcomed Horné Rum with open arms and helped us throw a great promotion to kick of the weekend of festivities. Don't miss next year...
February 3rd 2010 - Horné Rum is now available in South Carolina. We kicked off the product with a Charleston pub crawl down Market Street. Horné is blended and bottled right in Charleston...so we're excited to finally launch the product to SC.
December 3rd 2009 - Horné Rum Garners More Awards at International SIP Awards
Los Angeles - Judging for the SIP Awards completed today and Horné Rum took home a Platinum Medal (Best in Category).

May 28th, 2009 - Mother Nature Insists She Will Stop "Bringing It"
Atlanta - In a rare interview, Mother Nature admitted that she had been punishing Atlanta lately...mainly due to the Braves not having a legitimate lead-off hitter…but that after an early, albeit ridiculously ferocious, afternoon thunderstorm today…the skies will clear and the sun will shine.
She credits her recent introduction to Horné Rum for her change of heart. “I wake up every morning without a hangover…it’s freakin awesome. And, much to the delight of my boyfriend (wrestler Ric Flair), since switching my drink to the Skinny Ho, I’ve dropped an inch off my thighs.”

April 16th, 2009 - Horné Rum Invades Carrollton - Team Horné Rum loaded up a 15-passenger and headed west on Thursday. Destination...University of West GA...Carrollton.
A Carroll County record was set for the most shots consumed in a 4 hour period and our Horné Girls left many a broken heart in their wake. Of course we were able to round everyone up in time to make the trek back to ATL to pay a late night visit to Flip Flops. Next trip? Athens baby!

March 6th, 2009 - Horné Rum and Red Stripe Partner Up This Weekend - FYI...the weather this weekend will be the best...ever. 73 degrees and sunny skies. Why not kick back with Horné Rum and our friends at Red Stripe and booze all day. We are sponsoring the annual Pub Tour stop at The Standard in Grant Park. $10 buys you a wrist band good for discounted drinks and a bus ride to 10 different pubs around the Highlands, Cabbagetown, Grant Park, etc.
Of course The Standard will be our HQ so we will be there in force all afternoon. This is also the launch weekend for their new Bacci Ball court and back courtyard. Should be a blast!

February 16th, 2009 - Horné Rum takes "Best of Atlanta" by Storm - Folks were lining up to sample Atlanta's own Horné Rum at Monday's Best of Atlanta party. The favorite drink of the night...The Horné Ginger.
Our Horné Ambassadors worked the booth, the stage, the dance floor, and actually the entire ballroom. Proceeds from the event benefited Camp Twin Lakes.

February 12th, 2009 - Horné Rum will have a booth at Best of Atlanta - Join us on February 16th as we help support Camp Twin Lakes by featuring Horné Rum at Atlanta Magazine's - Best of Atlanta.
January 29th, 2009 - Horné Rum Spices Up the Grammy's - The Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy (The Grammy's) hosted a soiree to honor the nominees from the southern region. The party was held at the swank new W Atlanta - Downtown.
The signature drink of the night was the Horné Ginger...but many party goers enjoyed the Horné Bubbly (rum and champagne). It wasn't on the menu...but that's how they roll at these events.
January 22nd, 2009 - Horné Thursday's kicked off in style this week. The favorite drink of the night...Jamaican Me Horné!

January 16th, 2009 - Folks certainly “Partied up a Storm” at Loca Luna last night. Thanks to all that were able to attend. Over 1,000 thirsty fans dropped in and kicked the product off in style. December 26th, 2008 - Happy Holidays to everyone! Pallets of rum arrived to our distributor today. Stay tuned and we will let you know what bars are first on the scene.
December 4th, 2008 - Horné Rum has some exciting news to share. We have finally received all of our approvals, permits, stamps, licenses, etc, etc needed to sell our sweet nectar. With the completion of this colossal task we are ready to spread Horné throughout the Atlanta area. We will be launching in 30 to 40 select bars in Atlanta and Athens sometime before Christmas (hopefully). We will send out a location list as soon as it is finalized. Also, with the imminent release of our product we have scheduled a friends and family soft launch party on January 15th. Please mark it on your calendar (in pencil) as you will be receiving an invite. We will do our best to not change the date, however if it does you will be the 1st to know.
With the New Year brings change...On that note, we have decided to get our butts in shape and participate in a Half Ironman triathlon. If you know John or Jack you understand what an ambitious, life changing, death defying task this is going to be for them. On the flip side it will be a breeze for our iron Rob, now known as Coach Rob. Nonetheless, the event is on May 3rd, 2009 in St. Croix, the birthplace of Horné Rum. A few motivated friends of Horné have already joined in with us and are going to compete as well. We invite you to get off your butt, make a change in your life, and join us. The more people the better the party. We are not sure about the details yet but rest assured Horné Rum and our friends will "Party up a Storm" in St. Croix. Details will be posted on our website shortly. Come on, make the change, cross the line and join the mutiny.
